Several years ago my wife, Amy, and I decided to tie the knot. We had been shooting as amateurs capturing family photos, friends portraits, and our adventurous travel. Since I was playing a supporting role in our festivities, it was clear that I couldn’t be in the wedding and photograph the wedding at the same time. We began the search for a photographer that met our creative needs and our budget. Unfortunately, this was much harder than we ever imagined. After evaluating hundreds of photographers the trend was clear: good picture quality and creativity meant that the price was out of our budget; if the price was in our budget, the quality was not acceptable. Even more frustrating was the high cost to obtain the digital copy of the final photos for us to keep.
As a result of that experience we started shooting weddings and portraits for an affordable price. Professional photography is not our primary income. Amy and I love what we do and work hard to capture your special day with a mix of both traditional and creative photos.
After the guests are gone and the thank you cards are written, the thing that we cherish the most about our wedding are the moments captured in a photo.
